God is faithful!

Hey! I just got back from Taiwan and there are sooooo many things that I wanted to share :)

Let me start by saying that God is faithful! (Yeah I went straight to the point, haha)

How many of you have been holding onto your dreams and then you watched it crashed and burnt? I believe many of us have been in that kind of situation..

When that happened, that's the moment when we started to doubt God that He is faithful.

Earlier in April, I got called by an agency to do/host an Indonesian TV Show in Taiwan. I got pretty excited when I found out about that. However, at first they were going to film the show on the 3rd of May which was the date of my thesis's final defense. So, I told them that I can only fly to Taiwan after the 3rd of May. Long story short, I didn't hear from them anymore so I thought they cancelled on me.

To my surprise, after the 3rd of May they called me again and told me that they still wanted me to do the show. Unfortunately (or actually fortunately!), during the time that they didn't call me, I already arranged a ministry trip to Jogjakarta. To be honest it was a hard decision, don't get me wrong, I love to minister to people for Jesus Christ but it was also a rare opportunity to film a show in Taiwan. So, I remember I made the decision that no matter what "Jesus is first". We (me and my mom) refused the opportunity and the production house people even asked us twice to think about it but our decision was final.

A week passed by, I went to Jogjakarta, preached there, many souls got saved (it's totally a whole another story!) and I went back to Jakarta. Suddenly, out of nowhere the production house people called again and asked my mom if we could meet up somewhere. We were kind of confused but we said "Yes" anyway.

So, fast-forward, we met up with the production house and they told us the reason why they called again. Apparently, they already CHOSE another host and BOUGHT the ticket to Taiwan for her and they were going to fly in the 2nd week of May but... here is the crazy part, the people from Taitra/Taiwan Trade (their client) still WANTED ME to do the show and no other.

speechless..

I am no one, I am no one without Christ. He is the only "added value" in me.

I was so amazed by His work and I believed He would send me to Taiwan for a reason! and He did!

In Taiwan, I got to meet so many people to tell them about Christ and I became friends with a lot of people from the "Bread of Life" church. I should totally write a new blog about it :)

The point is, God is faithful.. He never breaks His promise.

But the most important thing to do is to hold on onto Him more than holding onto His promises! :)

When things don't go the way you planned, remind yourself "God is faithful, God is faithful, God is faithful" orrrr
just read this blog. tehehehehe

xoxo, Mima
